Hong Kong cuisine 🍀Central New Style Fujian Cuisine Lunch Set

During the May Day holiday, 🐗 and I went to IFC for lunch 🫶 The restaurant focuses on modern Fujian cuisine and offers discounted lunch packages during the holiday.

First attracted by the seasonal crayfish dishes, we ordered the iron plate salt baked crayfish. Served with salt and iron plate, it's quite good to take pictures🫶 The crayfish is just cooked tender and juicy, a little salty flavour to bring out the natural freshness of the crayfish.

We ordered two packages, one of which was Fujian Golden Soup Buddha Jumping Wall, which included a main course, a side dish and a drink. The soup is clear and fresh, made with ingredients such as bacon, sea cucumber and dried shrimp, and served with thin noodles.

As for the Xiamen Shacha Noodles on the lunch set I chose. The noodles were thicker than the ones that came with the Buddha Jumping Wall meal, and the thick noodles went well with the rich soup. The soup is similar to laksa, but with a significantly spicier and sweeter, and eats freshness, without adding coconut milk to highlight the flavor of the sand tea soup.

You can choose one side dish for each meal. I ordered beef with Minnan sauce and chicken rolls with pork belly. I like the chicken rolls with pork belly because the pork belly wrapped in it is rich and not greasy. It's delicious😋

My meal only allowed me to choose between drinks and stew. I ordered the soup with shiitake mushrooms and bamboo shoots. The soup was stewed until it was sweet and clear. 🐗Add extra craft beer for me. The beer carries a more sour flavor, while the longan lemon oolong tea is similar to longan ice, with a slight lemon sourness.
