Exhibition of Masters of Martial Arts Fiction

Dr. Louis Cha (pen name Jin Yong) is a famous Hong Kong journalist, social activist, and writer renowned in the world literary world. He is known as "wherever there are Chinese, there are Jin Yong novels" and can be regarded as a master of martial arts novels.

The more than 300 exhibits in the "Jin Yong Museum" introduce Dr. Cha's early career, the creation process of martial arts novels and the influence of his novels on Hong Kong popular culture. Visitors can relive classic Mr. Jin Yong's movies/televisions and theme song selections through the exhibits in the exhibition hall, and thus understand the rich knowledge contained in his martial arts novels.

In addition, Dr. Cha went to Cambridge University in the UK to pursue a doctorate at the age of over 80, and was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy degree by Cambridge University in 2010. His lifelong pursuit of academics is truly admirable.

The "Jin Yong Museum" is located in the permanent exhibition hall of the Hong Kong Heritage Museum (free admission)
