Eat in Mong Kok | GRIND SIZE | Must-try Satay Beef Noodles and Ice Lemon Tea Variations

#waffleandshrimpcakes One Sunday I was looking for a place to have dinner in Mong Kok and remembered a #coffeeshop GRIND SIZE on #Ladies'Street that I had wanted to try for a long time.

You must recognize the word "poor" on the surface.

We were arranged to sit on the first floor, but not below "Jian Zi Yin Coffee".

Quite a good selection of food.

For Shrimp Cake, I ordered the "Triple Garlic Flavor, Herb Linguine, and Butter-Seared Scallops" ($148). Each piece of linguine was covered in herb garlic sauce with a strong garlic flavor, and the scallops would be perfect if they were slightly fried.

Wof has always loved satay beef noodles and was very interested in the variation of "Slow-cooked Beef Cheek, Hong Kong-style Satay Sauce Pan-fried Rice Noodle Rolls" ($158). The beef was upgraded to beef cheek, which was generous in portion, tender and rich in gelatin. The Hong Kong-style satay sauce was very flavorful, but just a bit spicier than expected.

Because the satay sauce is quite spicy, you should order a cold drink with the waffles and shrimp crackers immediately.

I ordered Matcha Pineapple Soda ($46) for the shrimp cakes. The combination of matcha and pineapple was very fresh and tasted good.

Waffles ordered black sesame milk ($48), which requires you to pour the milk, black sesame seeds and syrup into the cup in order. You can adjust the sweetness according to your personal taste. Waffles recommends not going too sweet, and adding a little syrup can bring out the aroma of sesame.

Finally, there is the dessert "Not a Drink. Iced Lemon Tea" ($78). The chocolate flavor is replaced with tea flavor, which is neither sweet nor greasy. It is topped with lemon sorbet, which is like drinking iced lemon tea. I highly recommend it.
