
Meishajian (753 meters above sea level) is the fourth highest peak in Shenzhen. It is named because of its cone-like shape and overlooking Dameisha.
The mountain is steep and offers an excellent view. You can overlook Yantian Port, Dameisha, Sanzhoutian Reservoir and OCT East at the same time. It is a treasure trove for watching the sunrise over the mountains and the sea in Shenzhen!

Recommended time period:
Sunrise lovers: Depart at 5:00 AM to watch the sunrise over the sea of clouds.
Sunset lovers: Start your climb at 3:00 PM for breathtaking sunset views.
Beware of rainy days! The steps can be slippery and the summit can be foggy.

2. Sanzhoutian Reservoir
During the climb, you can overlook the "Shenzhen Tianchi". The blue-green lake water and the mountains and forests are very healing.

A historical and cultural check-in point.
4. The internet-famous Hairpin Bend Highway
There is a winding mountain road before reaching the summit, and taking photos gives you the feeling of being on the "Sichuan-Tibet Highway"!
Meishajian is a coastal area in Shenzhen known for its sandy beaches and natural scenery. It has grown as a popular recreational destination for locals and tourists, offering a blend of leisure and scenic coastal experiences.
Meishajian is located in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, Guangdong. Visitors can reach it via taxi, ride-hailing services, or bus from central Shenzhen. Walking and cycling are convenient within the beach and park area.
The area is open year-round. The best time to visit is from October to April when the weather is pleasant and less humid.
Meishajian Beach is generally free to access. Certain parking areas or private facilities may charge small fees, payable on-site.
Booking is not required for general beach access. For organized activities or events, booking a few days in advance is recommended.
2–4 hours is usually sufficient to enjoy the beach, walk trails, and visit nearby amenities. A full day can be spent if including water activities and meals.
Guided tours are limited. Local tour guides may be arranged through Shenzhen travel agencies in Mandarin and occasionally English.
Night visits are possible; the beach is open and illuminated in some areas. Special evening events may be organized occasionally during festivals or holidays.
The beach can be crowded on weekends and holidays. Weekdays and early mornings are the least crowded times.
Most areas are accessible. Some sandy or uneven paths may be challenging for wheelchairs or elderly visitors. Children can enjoy the beach safely with supervision.
Cash is useful for small purchases. Most restaurants and larger shops accept cards and mobile payments (WeChat Pay, Alipay).
Vegetarian options are available at some cafes and restaurants. Vegan and halal options are limited but can be found in Shenzhen city nearby.
Taxi, ride-hailing apps, or public buses are convenient for reaching other Shenzhen attractions or city centers. Car rental is an option for flexible travel along the coast.
