Hiking at Phoenix Mountain | Phoenix Mountain is the highest mountain in South Lantau Country Park, with an altitude of 934 meters. In the past, many people went to Phoenix Mountain to watch the sunset on New Year’s Day. This time, we want to show you Phoenix Mountain shrouded in heavy fog. Visibility is low and the entire mountain is shrouded in white fog, creating a special atmosphere like a fairyland in a martial arts movie, which is unique! The following is an introduction to the route strategy and transportation methods starting from Bogongao.

Route: Pak Kong Au → Phoenix Mountain → Heart Sutra Forest → Ngong Ping
Total length: about 5.5 kilometers
Time required: About 3.5 hours (including photo taking and rest time)
Difficulty: 3.5 stars
Transportation: Take New Lantao Bus No. 11 or No. 23 from Tung Chung Bus Terminal, or Bus No. 11 towards Tai O (fare is $11.8).
Note: This route has relatively high stone steps, and going up and down the mountain requires a certain amount of physical strength.
