Po Lin Monastery｜Visit the special hall at the foot of the Big Buddha

After worshiping the Great Buddha at the Temple of Heaven in On Ping and walking the long stone steps back and forth, of course we should also stop by the nearby Po Lin Zen Temple, often known as the "Southern Buddhist World"!

There are different main halls in the temple, each with its own characteristics:
The Great Hall—Referring to the architectural style of the Forbidden City in Beijing, visitors who have visited will have a sense of déjà vu;
The Hall of Ten Thousand Buddhas - enshrines more than ten thousand Buddha statues. They are magnificent and magnificent!
There are also the Amitabha Hall, the Jizang Hall, the Fasting Hall, and the Monk Hall built in symmetry. An exhibition of the construction of the Great Buddha of the Heavenly Temple is currently underway in the temple, which narrates the efforts of several generations of abbots to build the Great Buddha over the years, which is worthy of respect.

In addition to visiting the Zen temple, you can also taste the vegetarian dishes at the vegetarian hall inside!
