Empire Center Scenic Restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui East

Today, I went to one of the restaurants in the Empire Center in Tsim Sha Tsui East for dim sum.

The restaurant has a spacious and comfortable environment, and sitting by the window offers a sea view.

🔸Char Siu Eel
The appearance really fooled me! It looks just like a piece of char siu. The exterior is crispy and hard, similar to char siu, while the eel meat inside is tender. However, I found the honey sauce to be a bit lacking.

🔸Cheese Shrimp Dumplings
The shrimp dumplings are large and plump, with a crispy exterior. The shrimp inside is bouncy and savory.

🔸Double Fish Roe Siu Mai
The siu mai is large, with bouncy shrimp, chewy pork, and fragrant mushrooms.

🔸Jade Lily Scallop Rice Noodle Roll
The rice noodle roll skin is thick and chewy, the lily is sweet, and the scallop is tender.

🔸Fish Maw and Scallop Soup Dumpling
The soup is sweet and flavorful, the fish maw is chewy, the scallop is tender, and the dumpling skin is thin and chewy, filled with plenty of shrimp and pork.

🔸Bitter Melon Pan-fried Fish Cake
The bitter melon is not bitter, with a crisp and refreshing taste, and the fish cake is soft and not greasy.

🔸Lettuce and Chinese Yam in Broth
The lettuce and Chinese yam are crisp, and the lily is sweet.

🔸Smooth Sesame Roll
The sesame roll is warm, with a chewy texture and a strong sesame flavor.
