A place of beauty and without mass tourism. Paradise beaches, postcard decor, crystal clear and turquoise waters are on the program. Local life is cheap, easy travel (taxi boats everywhere) and many activities. You can easily stay for a week by combining rest, swimming and sea trips, and diving or snorkeling enthusiasts will be thrilled.
In addition, the locals are extremely kind and at no time do they seek to scam you.
On the negative side, I would cite the few choices in quality restaurants, the poor value for money of housing and especially the poor waste management on the islands (litter everywhere, especially in the fishing village).
It should also be noted that the islands are relatively remote from other tourist attractions in Malaysia. You have to get organized to get there. This is probably why this little paradise is preserved.
