Shanghai|Tasty Shanghai good restaurant near Huaihai Road

The owner was warmly greeting guests at the door, and the moment he spoke authentic Shanghainese, it immediately felt so familiar and welcoming!

The shredded eel was incredibly delicious—rich, glossy, and flavorful with that classic smooth texture.

The braised duck was full of depth in its sauce, and the meat wasn’t overly fatty—really enjoyable!

The grilled capelin had a crispy exterior and tender inside, with an authentic sweet flavor that tasted just like Shanghai. The portion was generous too—perfect for two to three people!

The bamboo shoots came in a large portion as well. We also ordered stir-fried rice cakes with yellow chives—the rice cakes were chewy and tender, and the chives were finely chopped. So tasty!
