Enjoy a cup of refreshing coffee, a necessity amidst the hustle and bustle.

Restaurant: Wake Up (Sha Tin)
Address: Shop S041B, G/F, 10W, Phase 2, Science Park West Avenue, Pak Shek Kok, Sha Tin, Hong Kong Science Park

Not many people would specifically go to the Science Park in Sha Tin, but sometimes when you want to get away from the crowd, this place is worth a visit. Besides innovative technology companies and enterprises, the Science Park also has many tech exhibitions and spaces to explore. The outdoor area is close to the Pak Shek Kok Promenade and Tolo Harbour, where many people go jogging or cycling 🚴. Even just gazing at the sea is quite relaxing πŸ₯°. The highlight, of course, is the dozens of restaurants here 🍽️.

A newly opened camping-style restaurant in the Science Park is Wake Up, their third branch. They focus on the concept of morning coffee and evening drinks, offering a variety of dishes, coffee, and alcoholic beverages 🍷. With affordable and delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner, and afternoon tea, along with occasional promotions, it attracts many customers. I went with a friend around 2 PM, and the restaurant was still 80-90% full πŸ˜‚.

✝️ Baked Pork Chop Rice with Rich Cheese and Fresh Tomato Sauce $92
This lunch set includes soup, bread, and a drink. The baked rice is served in the original pot, covered with a thick layer of cheese and special fresh tomato sauce, balancing sweet and sour flavors with the cheese aroma πŸ§€. The tender pork chop and fried rice make it a must-try quick and delicious lunch option πŸ˜†.

✝️ Healing Carbonara with Egg Yolk $98
This Carbonara looks super comforting and attractive when served. Made with Parmesan cheese, bacon, and mushrooms πŸ„πŸŸ«, mixed with the orange-yellow egg yolk sauce, the combination of flavors is not greasy at all. Definitely worth an encore next time 😜.

✝️ Special Herb-Roasted Hormone-Free Whole Spring Chicken with Potatoes and Vegetables $158
The whole 900g roasted spring chicken is freshly roasted to achieve crispy skin and tender meat πŸ”₯. Although all the food was served almost at the same time, and the chicken was a bit cold by the time we ate it, it didn't affect its deliciousness πŸ”. It wasn't very juicy, but the chicken meat was not dry at all. The dish also came with tricolor fries and vegetables, and the portion was quite generous πŸ˜‚.

For snacks, we ordered a serving of 5 Chill Spicy Buffalo Wings ($58) and Fried Sweet Potato Fries ($68). The former was flavorful with a slight spiciness 🌢️, covered in rich buffalo sauce; the latter included sweet potato, purple potato, and taro fries, freshly fried and still crispy and hot when served πŸ˜‹.

We finished with a cup of Wake Up Coffee, brewed with locally roasted coffee beans β˜•οΈ. The staff even provided an hourglass ⏳, hoping customers could enjoy the coffee at its best within 5 minutes.
