Nostalgic and Affordable Malaysian-Style Restaurant

This restaurant is amazing! Decorated with a nostalgic Hong Kong style and Malaysian culture, it feels very welcoming. Each dish is around $50, which is very affordable.
The Xiao Long Bao with pepper soup is incredibly delicious. The skin is just the right thickness, and the broth is rich and slightly spicy. It's warming and appetizing, but be careful not to burst the soup! The set includes four Xiao Long Bao paired with pepper Bak Kut Teh. The soup is flavorful and slightly spicy, and the ribs are lean and meaty, making it very satisfying.
The Char Siu Pork Lard Noodles have a chewy texture. The lard flavor combined with the sauce makes the noodles very fragrant! I tried the soy sauce flavor, and the subtle lard aroma was very prominent. The Char Siu was fragrant and crispy, not greasy at all.
The Egg Fried Rice Noodle Rolls were perfectly cooked. The sauce was savory, and the rice noodle rolls were smooth with a hint of wok hei. The pork intestines were cooked just right, making it very enjoyable.
Finally, the Kaya Toast was toasted to a perfect crisp. The kaya spread was fragrant and rich, leaving no burden after eating. Paired with refreshing Luo Han Guo water, it was a perfect match! Overall, this place is definitely worth a try!
