Unlike typical New Territories areas, this place isn’t just a bunch of weeds and trees; it offers stunning rural scenery. Where is this? It’s located at Sheung Shui Ho Sheung Heung, near the Hong Kong border. Nearby, there’s a large wetland and farms in operation, so you can see many small animals. The twin rivers in the middle connect to the Luohu Port to the north, where you can faintly see many tall buildings across the river. On the opposite side of the river is a large water pipe, a popular spot for cycling enthusiasts to take photos, and the East Rail Line trains pass by, making for great photo opportunities!
As for transportation, most people ride their bikes here. You can rent one at Sheung Shui Station or ride from other places. There aren’t many vehicles allowed in the area, so you can walk from Po Shek Wu Estate to near the Sheung Shui Ambulance Station, which is the destination. If you have nowhere to go on the weekend, why not come here for a walk? Enjoy the beautiful scenery and breathe in the fresh air of nature!
