This is my second time dining at Skewers Hall. I came once before and found there were many food options. There were lots I wanted to try but hadn’t yet, so I came back for another meal🍽️. This time, I tried to choose some skewers I hadn’t tasted before.
Caramel Eel Cheese 🧀 Tamago’s caramel was crispy enough, with sweet caramel that paired well with the eel. The tamago was not dry. The eel had a soft texture.
Sauced Grilled Minced Chicken Cartilage Stuffed Mushrooms had soft minced chicken🍗 and crunchy cartilage, giving a rich texture.
Korean-style Grilled Flavorful Beef Ribs were neither tough nor chewy. Very flavorful with a bit of spiciness. As the name suggests, very tasty.
Black Pepper Medium-cut Salt-grilled Beef Tongue Core had a springy and bouncy texture.
Fukuoka Miso Matsusaka Pork was sweet and not greasy, with lean meat that was tender yet slightly crisp, chewy to eat, and had a miso flavor.
Thai-style Pork Neck had a particularly soft, smooth, and bouncy texture. Paired with homemade sour and spicy sauce, it was very appetizing.
Sauced Grilled Chewy Rice Cake Rolls were soft and glutinous.
Garlic Butter Clams, thanks to the addition of lemon🍋, were not greasy at all but rather refreshing. The garlic bread served with the clams was even more surprising! Crispy on the outside and soft and glutinous inside! Plus, the garlic flavor was very strong.
Butter Garlic Cheese Baked Mixed Mushrooms had lots of garlic and cheese🧀, creating a stringy effect—so indulgent.
Two drinks tasted great: lime🍋🟩 pineapple🍍 soda was sweet and sour, very thirst-quenching. Most importantly, it had real ingredients and fruit pieces, not syrup. Hot licorice citrus🍊 honey was soothing for the throat; after eating skewers, drinking it made my throat feel very comfortable.
