Travel Back to 1980|Hong Kong Railway Museum

#HongKongMuseumGuide
Today, I want to introduce a lesser-known spot in Hong Kong, the "Hong Kong Railway Museum." It's definitely worth a visit, perfect for dates or family outings!

The venue isn’t very large (see pictures 10-12 for details), but I spent over two hours taking photos 🤭! Inside the museum, there are locomotives 🚂, historic train cars 🚞, signals 🚦, the old Tai Po Market train station building 🚉, and a museum office selling souvenirs (unfortunately, I didn’t notice it at the time 🙂↕️, I really want to know what souvenirs are available!).

When I visited, the train station building was under renovation, but it didn’t affect taking photos of the trains at all! You can even step inside the train cars and immerse yourself in the 80s and 90s train seating experience, making for great photo opportunities 👍🏻! The tracks, windows, and connections between train cars are also excellent spots for photos.

If you’re lucky, you might even spot the lazy "Train Conductor Cat" 🐱 under the train! 👗 For outfit tips, avoid dark colors, especially black, as they blend into the background easily; bright, light, or white clothing works better for photos. ⚠️ If you’re wearing shorts and short sleeves, remember to spray mosquito repellent. It’s hot outdoors, so take precautions against heatstroke!
