Today I would like to introduce you to a place that is worth taking your children to increase their knowledge. Admission is free. Similar places in Japan and Taiwan also require admission fees. This is the Hong Kong Railway Museum, which was converted from the old Tai Po Market Railway Station and is located in the heart of Tai Po Market.

The railway station was listed as a statutory monument in 1984 and was subsequently rebuilt and reopened to the public a year later.

Here you can discover the facilities and tracks of the train station that have evolved over different eras, and admire the No. 51 diesel-electric locomotive, steam locomotive, and the transformation process of different historical carriages.
