Hung Fa Leng Country Park, located in Sha Tau Kok, New Territories, adjacent to Shenzhen’s Wutong Mountain, is Hong Kong’s newest 25th country park. Being close to the Shenzhen-Hong Kong border, it offers panoramic views of Sha Tau Kok, Yantian Port, and other beautiful sights of Shenzhen and Hong Kong, with distant views of Sheung Shui, Luohu, and Futian. Besides natural scenery, the hiking trail passes by military relic trenches, the Lin Ma Hang mine, a British colonial government-built bunker, and the Hakka ancient village of Lin Ma Hang, blending history and nature with rich stories.

Shan Tsui Village Road → Hung Fa Leng Hiking Trail → Lin Ma Hang Hiking Trail (passing Lin Ma Hang mine and MacIntosh bunker) → Lin Ma Hang Village

🚌 Transportation
Starting point: From Sheung Shui Bus Terminus, take KMB 78K/78S to Tam Shui Hang stop, then walk 20 minutes to the Hung Fa Leng Hiking Trail entrance.
End point: From Lin Ma Hang, take minibus 59K to Liantang Port or Sheung Shui.
