Hidden Instagrammable Spot in Hong Kong | Mei Foo Lingnan Style

#HongKongInDepthTour

"Lingnan Style" is part of Lai Chi Kok Park, located in the Mei Foo reclamation area. Its architectural art adopts the Lingnan style, with buildings arranged around a central pond extending outward, featuring courtyard corridors. The couplets in the park mainly consist of works by Cantonese people from the Ming, Qing, and Republic of China periods to the present.

"You Feng Lai Yi" is one of the ten scenic spots, located just inside the east gate. On the plaza ground are two phoenixes; "Lai Yi" signifies the arrival of a noble guest, a symbol of auspiciousness. On the back of the turtle stone in the square pond is a stone snake, representing Xuanwu, a mythical creature composed of a turtle and a snake.

"Yue Qi Xun Lai" is the central point of the park and the largest pavilion in the area. TV stations often film here. On moonlit nights, you can enjoy the scene where the water and moon blend, the best view in the entire park. Arches and corridors are seen everywhere.

How to get there: Take the MTR Tsuen Wan Line and exit at Mei Foo Station Exit D. Turn left, pass through the pedestrian passage under the footbridge, and enter Lai Chi Kok Park.
No admission fee required
