"Kowloon Walled City Light and Shadow Journey" Movie Scene Exhibition Opening

The "Kowloon Walled City Light and Shadow Journey" movie scene exhibition, planned by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Office under the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau and funded by the Film Development Fund, officially opened on May 23 at Kowloon Walled City Park.

The movie scene exhibition will be open to the public starting May 24, with free admission, and will run for three years.

Following the earlier movie exhibitions held at Hong Kong International Airport and Kai Tak, the "Kowloon Walled City Light and Shadow Journey" movie scene exhibition is the largest in scale and longest in duration. It was meticulously produced by the behind-the-scenes team of the Hong Kong Film Awards Best Film "The Walled City," and specially reconstructed scenes at the original site of Kowloon Walled City—now Kowloon Walled City Park.

This exhibition includes more classic scenes from the movie, incorporates local traditional craft elements, and combines large-scale projections to vividly recreate daily life in the Walled City. It offers visitors a new experience and allows them to appreciate the creativity and exquisite craftsmanship of Hong Kong film industry professionals.

* To ensure the quality of the viewing experience, no more than 30 people are allowed inside the exhibition at the same time.

* As visitor numbers are expected to be high during the initial period, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department will arrange three visiting sessions per hour, with tickets distributed on-site to facilitate entry. Park staff may adjust the opening times of each session based on usage and operational arrangements.
