Located on Qingfeng Street in Tin Hau, the Sake Tiger Poetry Dragon hidden under the flyover is truly a hidden gem. Although the storefront is low-key, once you step inside, you immediately feel a warm and surprising atmosphere. The flow of people and traffic at the entrance adds a touch of urban vitality, while the lighting and decor inside the restaurant provide a peaceful contrast.
The interior features wooden furniture, warm lighting, and walls covered in graffiti, giving it a very stylish vibe.
Tonight, we ordered spicy watermelon as an appetizer. The watermelon 🍉 was well chilled, paired with a spicy sauce, creating a hot and cold sensation that’s perfect as a starter for early summer weather. The second dish was crispy chicken skin senbei, where the chicken skin is grilled until thin and crispy, oily but not greasy.
Grilled oysters 🦪 served with watercress and aged kidney sauce were very unique. The oysters were juicy and sweet, with a flavor so fresh and delicious it’s unforgettable.
Next was grilled white eel with aged tangerine peel and fermented black bean sauce. The white eel had a thick texture and was very juicy, leaving a lasting impression.
Looking forward to visiting again to try other specialty dishes!
