It was a friend's birthday and we wanted to eat Japanese cuisine. Seeing that this izakaya I had visited before offers free plate art service, we came back to dine again. Just like last time, there were many promotions:
🤩 All-day half-price draft beer
500ml draft beer half price $34, 330ml black draft beer half price $34, 500ml black & white draft beer half price $39.
I ordered a draft beer 🍻, which paired perfectly with crispy chicken skin dumplings 🥟 skewers and savory mentaiko chicken wings!
🤩 All-day seasonal Iwate Prefecture Akaho oysters half price
Half dozen half price! Original $290, reduced to $145
🤩 Directly sourced live seafood half price
Live Ise lobster sashimi 40% off, original $668, now only $398; Hokkaido live geoduck sashimi half price $680 reduced to $338; other fresh live seafood available for pre-order.
Geoduck tastes fresh and sweet. The geoduck’s throat has a smooth texture, soaked in yuzu juice, giving it a refreshing flavor.
🤩 Buy one get one free fatty tuna belly sushi
The fatty tuna belly has rich marbling, melts in your mouth, with a strong oily flavor.
🤩 Dinner set meals
There are many dinner sets, most under $200 each. Sets include main dish, salad 🥗, miso soup, chawanmushi, and rice. Large portions, great value! The grilled dried fish is golden on the outside and the fish meat is not too dry.
🤩 Limited-time sake promotion
Two selected sake each season, with discounts up to $122 off per bottle
🤩 Free plate art service
Plate art service is free with dessert order; if you want a specific design/content, WhatsApp 90868860 two days in advance to confirm and pay a $200 reservation deposit (daily quota applies, so booking is recommended). This time, celebrating a friend’s birthday, we had a popular Chiikawa design, which was beautifully done! The dessert was a popular pistachio-flavored Basque cheesecake. The cake has a savory pistachio flavor and is topped with crunchy pistachio bits, making the texture richer.
