"Atmospheric Korean Cuisine in Elements"

Haven't been to Korea for a while, and I was a bit nostalgic for Korean food, so after work, I came to Surasang, recommended by a colleague.

Next to Surasang is a Korean light meal café offering light dishes and various shaved ice desserts. Surasang takes a high-end approach with a Korean royal court style, featuring a stylish and elegant design. The menu is rich with pictures and descriptions.

Appetizers are an essential part of Korean cuisine, and every appetizer here is delicious, especially the octopus—smoky and chewy, you just can't stop eating it.

Toro Sea Urchin Gimbap
The pink toro paste is topped with green onions, salmon roe, and sea urchin. A small card explains how to eat it; mixing is a soothing process. Watching the pink, orange, and green colors blend together, then wrapping it with crushed seaweed and rolling it with fried seaweed!

Every bite is full of the rich toro, the fresh flavor of sea urchin, and the crispy seaweed, making it irresistible!

Water Celery Shrimp Pancake
The golden pancake is loaded with shrimp. The crispness of the water celery and the springiness of the shrimp make the pancake light and not heavy at all. You can eat several pieces without feeling full!

Korean Wagyu Mixed Mushroom Hot Pot
Beautifully plated, the red and white marbled beef shows its richness! The meat is flavorful, perfectly paired with the mixed mushrooms on the side. The entire grilling process is assisted by the waiter, providing attentive service.

As for drinks, there are many choices. The two lychee soda and yuzu soda I ordered were very tasty and went well with the meat. But next time, if I’m not driving, I will definitely try their Korean specialty alcoholic beverages!

The beautiful environment, high-quality food, and thoughtful service are the reasons I will come back next time!
