Been so busy lately that my head feels dizzy. After work, I just want to relax and treat myself better. I chose this grilled seafood restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui. The restaurant is decorated in a wooden Japanese style, combined with warm orange lighting, creating a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

Layers of minced tuna, flying fish roe, sea urchin, crab meat, and sweet shrimp are spread over the rice, which already looks very appealing. The taste is full of freshness, especially the rich sweetness of the sea urchin, with a smooth texture. The portion of rice is moderate, and the vinegar flavor doesn’t overpower the seafood, making the seasoning well balanced and satisfying.

The crab miso grilled in the shell has a rich and smooth crab paste, with some crab roe to enhance the texture. A must-order when you come here.

The live shellfish platter includes scallops, abalone, oysters, and clams, all very fresh. The scallops release some juice after grilling, sweet and fresh without being too salty; the abalone is chewy and textured; the oysters are plump and large, with a smooth mouthfeel. The best part is that someone grills everything for us.

The outer skin is crispy and not greasy. The vegetables have a natural sweetness and come in many varieties, including baby corn, eggplant, shiitake mushrooms, green peppers, okra, and more. You can tell they are Japanese vegetables, high quality ingredients, perfect to pair with cold udon.

#Yanagawa-style Soft Egg Eel
The soft egg is tender and smooth, the eel meat is thick and has a good texture. The only downside is the sauce is a bit too much and slightly sweet.

Cold Udon
The udon noodles are chewy, drizzled with chilled sauce, topped with a little green onion and seaweed, simple yet layered in flavor, quite refreshing.
