Kowloon Walled City Light and Shadow Journey: Movie Scene Exhibition|A Time-Traveling Movie Adventure

Recently, Kowloon Walled City Park has transformed back into the original Kowloon Walled City! As soon as you enter, you see a big signboard that says "Kowloon Walled City," with neon lights flickering, full of nostalgic vibes, as if you’ve instantly traveled back to old Hong Kong.

The exhibition turns the former yamen into a street styled like an ancient town, with old-fashioned shops and signboards on both sides. The walls are covered with yellowed posters and handwritten notes, and there are bicycles and grocery stalls, vividly showcasing scenes from the movie "Kowloon Walled City Siege"! The details are incredibly authentic, even the bricks on the ground and the curtains at the shop entrances have a strong nostalgic feel.

Walking further in, you’ll find a small shop marked as "Seven Kee Ice Room." The interior decoration resembles the ice room in the movie, with old illustrated magazines on the walls, a counter filled with nostalgic canned goods and sundries, and even a fish tank with a big fish and many colorful decorations, full of fun! We can pretend to sit and eat the char siu rice from the movie, experiencing the feeling of being the boss.

The exhibition also features other movie scenes, such as the Walled City’s alleys, convenience stores, dentist, barber shop, and food factory. All are perfect for photo ops!

The exhibition design is truly thoughtful, not only are the scenes realistic, but even the small details are carefully crafted. For example, the characters on the old signboards are replicated exactly like the real ones, and there are bicycles placed at shop entrances with bags of goods hanging on them, as if someone might ride off to deliver them at any moment.

This exhibition is truly unforgettable, not only letting you feel the charm of the movie but also reliving the atmosphere of old Hong Kong life.
