Foreword: If there's one reason to visit Fu'an for relaxation, it's definitely its culturally rich ancient villages, abundant natural landscapes, and unpretentious charm. The most memorable spots include: 1. The fish in Sudi Village, 2. The waterfall at Jiulong Cave, 3. The tea aroma in Tanyang Village, and 4. The stew pots in the city center.
My travel guide✍🏻:
Transportation: Take a high-speed train to Fu'an Station. There seems to be a bus to the city center right after arrival. The ride is a bit long, about 40 minutes, costing 15💰.
Route📝: My itinerary was City Center → Lian Village → Sudi → Shuangxi → Baiyun Mountain Jiulong Cave → Tanyang → Guiling Temple → City Center, forming a perfect loop without backtracking.
📍Drive yourself—you must drive. I wouldn't know how to get around otherwise, as each attraction is quite spread out, and some areas are remote where taxis are hard to find.
