【Personal Experience Sharing】Three Cost-Effective Hotels with Victoria Harbour Views in Hong Kong

This time, I’m sharing three seaview hotels I recently stayed at~

Back when I was studying, the prices of Victoria Harbour hotels really scared me. Now that I’m working and have some means, I can finally fulfill the wish of "waking up to a view of Victoria Harbour"! Although five-star hotels around Tsim Sha Tsui often cost $4000-$5000, there are actually great options around $2000!

1️⃣ Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour North Point (about $2000 with double breakfast)
☑️ Pros: 2 minutes’ walk from North Point Station, lots of local snacks nearby! Hyatt’s service and breakfast quality are guaranteed
✖️ Cons: The room is really tiny! It’s a bit difficult to open the suitcase... and the sea view faces the highway, so the view is compromised

2️⃣ Kerry Hotel Hong Kong, Hung Hom (off-season $2500 including club lounge)
☑️ Pros: Unbeatable sea view terrace, great pool, the club lounge is right by Victoria Harbour! You can have breakfast facing the sea, and the rooms are quite spacious
✖️ Cons: Rooms only face East Kowloon, prices can spike to $3000 in peak season, and it’s a 10-minute walk from Whampoa Station

3️⃣ Harbour Grand Kowloon (under $2000)
☑️ Pros: 3 minutes from Whampoa Station, sea view similar to Kerry but half the price! This time I was even upgraded to a suite, the living room was so big I think another person could sleep there
✖️ Cons: Older decor, once in the morning there was heavy fog and nothing was visible

Tips: If you want to save money and still have a sea view, consider staying on weekdays and booking early~ The day and night views of Victoria Harbour are truly captivating. Compared to the crowds at Shanghai’s Bund or the endless views in Bali, Hong Kong’s unique blend of city and sea scenery is really special!
