Wasanmi Teppanyaki Experience｜The Ultimate Enjoyment of Taste and Sight

If you want to eat teppanyaki in Hong Kong, I would recommend Wasanmi located above Sogo Department Store in Causeway Bay. I tried their lunch set. The restaurant is divided into a Japanese dining area and a teppanyaki area.

From the moment you step into the restaurant, the simple yet exquisite environment lets you feel the delicacy and care of Japanese cuisine, and every dish on the teppan is a feast for both the eyes and the palate.

The appetizer salad on the table is fresh and refreshing, paired with corn kernels, tomatoes, and a special sauce, opening the first chapter for the taste buds.

🔥 The Art Performance on the Teppan
Sitting at the bar counter, I watched the chef skillfully perform on the hot teppan, as if enjoying an impromptu show. The tender shrimp and scallops sizzled on the teppan, and as the seasonings were gently sprinkled, an enticing aroma wafted through the air. The chef skillfully stir-fried with rhythmic movements, perfectly combining the freshness of the ingredients and the control of heat, making you hold your breath in anticipation. The tender texture of the shrimp and scallops, paired with the specially selected sauce, is truly a pinnacle of taste!

Next came the thinly grilled beef. Since beef cooks quickly, the chef would cook this dish according to your eating pace. Then the fried rice was served, rich with egg aroma and mixed with the tender texture of beef; every grain of rice was full of flavor, leaving a lingering taste. Finally, the teppan stir-fried mixed vegetables were served—simple yet retaining the original flavor of the ingredients, combined with the heat of the teppan, whetting the appetite.

After the meal, the waiter took me to the lounge area in the middle of the restaurant to enjoy coffee. Simple and straightforward, it was a very satisfying lunch.
