Affordable Japanese Lunch in Sheung Shui

Counting on my fingers, it’s probably been over ten years since I last visited Sheung Shui, so I had no idea about the area. A local took me here for lunch, saying it was more budget-friendly, so I went along.

For a Japanese lunch, it’s not expensive. I had a vegetable pancake with buckwheat noodles; the pancake was fragrant, the greasiness level acceptable, and most importantly, the buckwheat noodles were very refreshing with a generous portion.

My friend’s shrimp and oyster tempura looked authentic, and I heard the taste was good. Paired with Japanese rice, it’s definitely filling.

The drinks cost extra, which is something I don’t like.
