Hong Kong Exhibition｜Holiday Dialogue with Picasso

The pace of everyday life is really too fast; it's important to slow down at the right time～
At M+, I spent over two hours just at the Picasso exhibition.

There are quite a few original works, and they are arranged in different corners according to themes, including paintings, sketches, sculptures, and more. From Picasso’s own works to art influenced by him, it helps to better understand his creative thinking, his deconstruction of the human body, and so on.

The curation is very thoughtful, with activities arranged for children to learn about Picasso through play! An interactive manual looks at the artist from four perspectives, such as finding animals in the exhibition, observing portraits, replicating painting poses, and creating with materials.
There are also short videos introducing paintings from different periods, which helped me better understand the meaning behind the artworks!

Before leaving, you can see Picasso’s creative process and even participate in a small workshop!
