Hong Kong|Stunning Ocean Views Along Cape D'Aguilar Road

The blue skies, white clouds, and ocean views along Cape D'Aguilar Road🩵.
This is the first time I’ve felt that, apart from Sai Kung’s countryside, there’s another place with such stunningly blue and clean coastlines.🩵 (I haven’t even reached the destination yet, but the scenery along the way is already breathtaking.😍)

From afternoon to sunset🌅, the views are endlessly captivating. (Pictures included to prove my love for the scenery😆) The weather is extremely hot, and the sun is scorching🥵. If it weren’t for the beautiful views, the effort wouldn’t have been worth it. Haha.

Actually, this is just the ocean view along Cape D'Aguilar Road. The destination is the Cape D'Aguilar Marine Reserve, Crab Cave, and other attractions. I’m writing about this road because not everyone has the stamina to hike over 10 kilometers in the summer heat but still wants to enjoy beautiful ocean views. Walking along this road and returning the same way is an easy option.

This is a stretch of road where you can enjoy stunning ocean views after walking about 20-30 minutes from the bus stop.

If you don’t plan to or don’t have the time to complete the entire route, you can turn back at any point. (Sometimes, the journey itself is more important than the destination—the beauty along the way is the essence of a trip.😊)

Occasionally, there are a few vehicles passing by, so be cautious and walk closer to the roadside.

The weather is hot, so make sure to protect yourself from the sun and bring enough water and some light snacks. Sunscreen, a sun-protective jacket, sunglasses🕶️, a small water spray bottle, and a mini fan are all good to have to prevent heatstroke.

🩵🩵🩵
Not far from the bus stop, there’s a solar-powered restroom (the only restroom available, so make use of it if needed!). Although there’s a small store with a restroom along the way, not everyone might be comfortable using it.🙈

🩵🩵🩵
Cape D'Aguilar is Hong Kong’s only marine reserve, and it’s worth cherishing and protecting.
Please take your trash with you.

(The environment is so beautiful that it’s heartbreaking to see any damage. I even picked up some trash left by others, like bottles tossed into the grass.)

I hope everyone appreciates a scenic spot not just for taking photos but for truly enjoying it.
