Tsim Sha Tsui Surf & Turf Charcoal Grill Frenzy

Located in Tsim Sha Tsui, the skewer restaurant "Life is Limited Cup" has a playful name and the food quality definitely does not disappoint! They offer a wide variety of skewers, including meats, seafood, and vegetables, along with many unique grilled items. The skewers are cooked to perfection with just the right seasoning.

The grilled crispy jade melon is crunchy and juicy, topped with flavorful cumin powder. The honey-grilled pineapple is sweet with a hint of caramelization, tangy and very appetizing. The pork lychee roll has a slightly crispy pork exterior, and biting into it releases juicy lychee—such a delightful surprise! The minced chicken stick is tender and meaty, and dipping it in Japanese egg yolk makes it even richer. The cheese spinach roll is grilled with pork, cheese, and spinach together, bursting with cheesy aroma. The cheese rice cake is crispy on the outside and soft and chewy inside, with a perfect cheese pull.

The caramel pineapple foie gras toast (two pieces) is very distinctive. One bite reveals sweet caramel, followed by juicy pineapple, then smooth and rich foie gras, and finally crispy toast—super indulgent.

For seafood, the garlic olive clam is fresh and bouncy, with the garlic olive topping being the perfect finishing touch. The garlic grilled oysters (two pieces) are tender and juicy, just like the garlic preserved vegetable grilled scallops (two pieces), both large and full of flavor! The grilled white eel with mountain pepper eel sauce has crispy skin and tender meat, very fragrant. We also ordered squid paste + seaweed + large shrimp, beautifully plated. The squid paste with shrimp is refreshing and bouncy, wrapped in seaweed and fried—delicious!

Finally, we ordered the Hong Kong-style honey toast with ice cream for dessert. The hot and cold texture is amazing, and a refreshing tangerine mint soda perfectly balances the rich flavors of the skewers.
