Hong Kong Day 2 of 2 Itinerary!!

Sights visited on Day 2:
- Lantau Island
- Ngong Ping Village
- Tian Tan Buddha
- Citygate Outlets

🌃We stayed in Wan Chai district during our stay in Hong Kong. From the Wan Chai subway station it takes about an hour or so to get to the bottom of the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car.

🚆Take the Port Island Line 2 stops (4 minutes) to Central. Then walk ~10 minutes to the Hong Kong stop (mostly underground). Take the Dongchong Line 7 stops (25 minutes) to Tung Chung.

🚠From here make your way to the ride the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car. Ticket prices for adult round trips are:

💴Standard Cabin: 295 HK$
Crystal Cabin: 365 HK$
Crystal+ Cabin: 545 HK$
Combo (Crystal Cabin one way + Standard Cabin one way): 330 HK$

🪷Take in the amazing views on the 25 minute journey. This takes you to Ngong Ping Village, which is full of various food and shopping experiences. Next, make your way up the 268 steps to reach the Tian Tan Buddha. From here, head back down the steps and over to the Po Lin Monastery.

🚠Once we finished touring around these areas, we took the cable cars back down the island and then explored the CityGate Outlets, a large shopping centre at the foot of the Ngong Ping Cable Cars. This took us to about 17:00, when we took the Metro back into Wan Chai.

🍱Lastly, we spent the evening wandering the streets of the Wan Chai district, where there are endless shops to explore and great food spots.
