Summer Hong Kong Family Trip Lazy Guide is here! Lazy moms, save this now~

💸 Must-read before the trip:
Don’t assume you can use Alipay to exchange Hong Kong dollars once you arrive! I was completely broke and embarrassed at the time, and ended up having to exchange cash with the hotel doorman. It’s recommended to exchange Hong Kong dollars in advance or bring cash to exchange~ You can use Alipay to buy an Octopus card, and when taking taxis, choose those that accept Octopus cards for much more convenience!

📅 5-day lazy itinerary:
Day 1: Check in at Rosewood Hong Kong, enjoy hotel activities in the afternoon, then take a leisurely stroll along Victoria Harbour in the evening to get used to the pace~
Day 2: After lunch at the hotel, first visit the Glow-in-the-Dark Slime Museum at K11 next door (the kids went crazy!), then head to the Hong Kong Space Museum (indoor, no sun exposure, perfect for kids to explore, 2 hours is plenty), watch the Victoria Harbour scenery at dusk, and have dinner at the hotel’s HENRY restaurant.
Day 3: After checkout, shop at K11, then check in at Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong. Take the subway to Kennedy Town, exit C, and to the left is the popular basketball court (3x zoom makes for amazing photos!), next door is another photo spot, then head straight to % Coffee. It’s too sunny to queue, but just snapping a few shots is very photogenic~
Day 4: The highlight is the Ngong Ping 360 cable car! Take the Tung Chung line from Central to the last stop, take the standard cable car at 10 AM, explore the market, then take the panoramic cable car back (fewer people at this time, almost a private cabin~), and in the afternoon, return to Causeway Bay for some shopping.
Day 5: Check out and head to the airport, don’t forget to buy Yau Fung preserved plums as souvenirs~

☀️ Tips:
It’s super hot during summer vacation, try to avoid the midday sun and plan more indoor activities. The restaurants at Rosewood Hotel are delicious and unforgettable! Hong Kong is atmospheric everywhere you shoot, this lazy itinerary is relaxed yet fulfilling, and it’s effortless even with kids~
