After work, I wanted to relax a bit, so I chose this Spanish restaurant on Portland Street 🇪🇸. The service was excellent, very friendly, and they even introduced the dishes to the customers 😌. According to the owner, there’s a live band performance on Friday nights, along with an open mic 🎤, so you can showcase your singing skills while dining 🤭. This time, we opted for the dinner set for two, which included appetizers, soup, main courses, and dessert 👍🏻.
🔸 Garlic Shrimp with Italian Herb Bread
The garlic aroma was rich 🧄, and the shrimp was fresh and bouncy 🦐. Pairing it with garlic slices enhanced the flavor even more. The herb bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and it went perfectly with olive oil 👍🏻.
🔸 Cauliflower Soup
A creamy soup that wasn’t overly heavy, with just the right seasoning 🥣.
🔸 BBQ Sauce Grilled Pork Ribs 🐷
The BBQ sauce was sweet with a hint of smokiness, complementing the tender pork ribs perfectly 😋. It also came with fries and vegetables as sides 🥦🍅.
🔸 Classic Seafood Paella 🦐🦑
The aroma hit us as soon as it was served 🤤. The mussels, shrimp, and squid on top were huge and fresh 👍🏻. The rice had the perfect texture and absorbed the seafood essence, making it incredibly flavorful 😆.
🔸 Spanish Churros
Homemade churros, fried to a delightful crispiness 😋. Topped with cinnamon powder and served with chocolate sauce, it was sweet but not overwhelming.
🔸 Spanish Lemon Beer & "The Secret You Can’t Tell"
Highly recommend the lemon beer! 🍋✨ The balance between lemon and beer was just right, with a hint of lemon aroma and a slightly bitter beer aftertaste, making it very easy to drink—perfect for ladies 😍. The other drink was a fresh fruit-based beverage, generously packed with fruits 🍓🫐.
