Pray to Guan Yin Goddess by the sea in Hong Kong

🏮Tin Hau Temple Repulse Bay / Kwun Yam Shrine is a temple popular for praying for success.

📍Steps for worship and activities to bring good fortune

🙏🏻When entering the temple, step in with your left foot and step out with your right foot.

🙏🏻Pray to Guan Yin Goddess in the blessing posture; you can ask for any wish. Face the Guan Yin statue while standing on the white tile, then focus your mind and make a wish. Say your full name, address, and tell her what you are praying for today. Then look up at her statue with determination.

🙏🏻Pray to Cai Shen Ye, the God of Wealth and Prosperity. Use a red banknote, a 100 baht Thai bill, or a banknote ending with the numbers 1, 2, 8, or 9. Then make a wish and rub the banknote on Cai Shen Ye’s beard from top to bottom. After that, keep the banknote in your wallet.

🙏🏻Pray to the Ruby Goddess for a smooth and safe journey.

🙏🏻Rub the Qilin’s feet; rubbing the Qilin’s feet helps with health.

🙏🏻The Longevity Bridge is a red bridge. Cross it by stepping with your left foot first. Walk to the other side of the bridge and do not walk back the same way.

🙏🏻The Octagonal Pavilion is the spot with the best feng shui in the temple. Stand there to pray and receive energy from the heavens by facing the sea. Then walk to the carved stone plaque and draw the number 8 with both palms.

🏮This temple also has a beautiful seaside view and a peaceful atmosphere, making it worth a visit.

🚇How to get there: Take bus numbers 6, 6X, 66, or 260 from the Bus Terminus. Get off at the Repulse Bay Beach stop and walk for 10 minutes along the beach.
