It was my husband's birthday, so I took him to this Italian 🇮🇹 restaurant in Wan Chai to celebrate. I visited a few years ago and remember the restaurant’s Burrata was super delicious😋. Ever since trying Burrata at this restaurant, I have fallen in love with this cheese🧀. However, I have yet to find Burrata of the same quality at other restaurants. After several years, I visited again and besides Burrata, we also ordered pasta, pizza, and dessert.
Mammamia🍕 has a crust that is neither too thick nor too greasy, so it’s not heavy. With added Mozzarella cheese, it achieves a nice stretch effect. The meatballs have a tender texture, not dry, with a hint of herb🌿 flavor.
The Handmade Large Pappardelle has a good texture, not overly soft. The wide flat noodles🍝 hold the sauce well, each strand coated with porcini mushroom and red wine sausage sauce.
The Burrata’s outer layer resembles Mozzarella. Once cut open, the filling flows out. The filling is silky and rich in flavor.
Duo Di Cioccolato is a warm molten chocolate🍫 cake served with cold chocolate ice cream, creating a hot and cold contrast. The waiter knew I was there to celebrate my husband’s birthday and specially wrote "Happy Birthday" for us, adding candles as well.
