Review of Kai Kee Noodle in Tsim Sha Tsui

On this trip to Hong Kong, I’d like to recommend a famous noodle shop that even locals frequent regularly—Kai Kee Noodle, or 雞記麵家 in Chinese. Conveniently located in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, it’s easy to find and just a short walk from the MTR station.

✨ Recommended Dishes
Squid Ball Noodles 🦑: The squid balls are bouncy and flavorful, with a genuine seafood taste and no excessive flour.

Braised Beef Noodles 🥩: The beef is tender and well-stewed, while the broth is rich and perfectly balanced.

Shrimp Wontons 🦐: Large, generously stuffed wontons that pair wonderfully with chili paste dipping sauce.

Hong Kong-style egg noodles: Chewy and soft, distinctly different from the noodles you’d find in Thailand.

🍽 The restaurant itself is not fancy; it has a classic local vibe but is comfortable to sit in. The staff are quick and efficient, and the food is served promptly.
💰 Prices range from HKD 40–70 per bowl, which is quite reasonable considering the quality and prime location.

📍 Location: Kai Kee Noodle, Kimberley Road, Tsim Sha Tsui
🚇 Nearest MTR station: Tsim Sha Tsui, Exit B1, about a 5-minute walk.

If you’re visiting Hong Kong and want to try authentic, flavorful traditional noodles, I highly recommend this place. No need to go all the way to Mong Kok—Tsim Sha Tsui has its own hidden gem! 😋
