Family fun at the Science Museum, playing and learning new technology knowledge

Since its opening in April 1991, the Hong Kong Science Museum has become an ideal place for the public to explore scientific knowledge. It promotes the popularization of science through high-quality exhibitions and engaging science programs, and assists schools in advancing technology education. Unlike traditional museums, it encourages visitors to discover scientific principles by interacting with exhibits, allowing them to experience the joy of exploring and learning science.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Hong Kong Science Museum is hosting a special dinosaur exhibition featuring eight famous and representative species, including Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Spinosaurus, Allosaurus, Sauroposeidon, Diplodocus, Quetzalcoatlus, and juvenile sauropods. These species from the dinosaur heyday are being exhibited together for the first time.

Additionally, the Hong Kong Science Museum is showcasing multiple large aerospace, aviation, and maritime models for the first time, including a 1:5 scale, approximately 12-meter-tall Long March 5 carrier rocket displayed outdoors, a life-size, approximately 10-meter-long model of the "Fendouzhe" full-ocean-depth manned submersible, and a 1:8 scale model of the "Y-20" large transport aircraft with a wingspan of about 6 meters displayed inside the exhibition hall.
