🏮 Why come here?
• Wong Tai Sin Temple is the oldest and most famous Chinese temple in Hong Kong.
• Locals believe that "prayers will grant wishes," especially for health, love, career, and luck.
• Highlights include the main shrine, a beautiful Chinese garden, and Taoist, Buddhist, and Confucian temples.

🌸 Temple Atmosphere
• The front features a magnificent red and gold Chinese archway. When you see it, you know you've arrived at a famous temple.
• Inside, rows of people hold incense sticks and light candles to pay their respects.
• There's a beautiful, tranquil Good Wish Garden, perfect for taking photos, as if you were in mainland China.
• The aroma of incense fills the air. It gives a very mystical and spiritual feeling.

🙏 How to make a wish at Wong Tai Sin (Local Style)
1. Buy incense sticks provided by the temple. (Incense sets with offerings are usually sold for ~HK$10–20)
2. Light incense and walk towards the “Main Altar.”
3. Kneel down and make a silent prayer (for health, career, love, or luck).
4. Perform the Kau Cim (Shim Si) ritual.
• Shake the bamboo sticks with numbered sticks → until “only one stick falls out.”
• Remember the number → Have the shim si interpreted by a local or a fortune-telling board provided.
• Hong Kongers believe the predictions are very accurate.
5. Stroll through the “Good Wish Garden” → End the day with peace and good energy.
