Looking for a hiking trail that's not too strenuous? Tsing Yi Sam Chi Heung is the perfect choice for you! This route is classified as an easy to moderate trail, mainly consisting of concrete steps. However, the challenging sections, such as the ascent via Chun Fa Lok, are steeper. Even beginners can handle it with ease. ✨️✨️ The name "Sam Chi Heung" comes from the three consecutive peaks that resemble three incense sticks standing on Tsing Yi. The highest point, the South Peak, has an elevation of 334 meters, offering stunning views of the Stonecutters Bridge, container terminals, and Victoria Harbour. It's a highly cost-effective urban hiking route.
✨️ Starting Point: Mayfair Gardens.
Route: Mayfair Gardens → Tsing Yi Road → Sam Chi Heung (South Peak, Middle Peak, North Peak) → Tsing Wah Playground/Tsing Yi West Road.
Total Distance: Approximately 3.5 kilometers.
Duration: About 2-3 hours (including breaks and photo-taking).
🚇 From Kwai Fong MTR Station Exit C, take minibus 88C.
🚇 From Tsuen Wan MTR Station Exit D, take bus 243M on Sai Lau Kok Road and alight near Tsing Wah Court.
