Atsuta Festival Hota Matsuri 🥷🏻

Atsuta-jingu Shrine is a Shinto shrine that is more special than any other in the Chubu region. The Atsuta Festival is held every June 5th. A portable shrine with ornate carvings is carried through a small forest, followed by fans of the festival wearing traditional Japanese headbands and happi coats.

You can enjoy a variety of traditional Japanese arts throughout the day. You will have a great opportunity to experience real Japanese culture up close, with performances of taiko drumming, archery, martial arts, and more.
