Guifa Xiaoxing is a Taiwanese restaurant in Tseung Kwan O that offers authentic Taiwanese cuisine at reasonable prices. They even serve afternoon tea on holidays, making it a great value for money!

▪️ Braised Beef Noodles with Half Tendon and Half Brisket
You can choose your preferred soup base and noodle type. We opted for the braised beef soup, which was rich and flavorful. The beef brisket and tendon were well-seasoned and tender, with generous portions. The dish also included vegetables and radish, and the Taiwanese noodles had a pleasantly chewy texture.

▪️ Salt and Pepper Chicken Chop Noodles
The chicken chop was golden and crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, with a thick cut of meat. Paired with Taiwanese noodles, the portion size was very generous, especially for an afternoon tea set.

▪️ Handmade Cheese Egg Pancake
The egg pancake was pre-cut into halves for easy sharing. It was filled with melted cheese, ham, and scrambled eggs, offering a rich and satisfying taste. You can choose between sweet potato fries or macaroni in tomato sauce as a side; we went with the sweet potato fries, which were sweet and crispy.

▪️ Deep-Fried Tempura
No Taiwanese meal is complete without tempura. The texture was slightly chewy and bouncy, and it wasn’t greasy at all.

The afternoon tea set also includes a drink, with options like Jasmine Green Tea or Honey Black Tea.
