As a foodie wife, I had to take my husband to a Michelin-starred restaurant to celebrate his birthday 🥰. I chose his favorite Thai cuisine so he could enjoy some spicy dishes 🌶️. The ambiance was also very nice! The green Southeast Asian decor and even the servers being Thai gave us an instant feeling of being in Thailand 🇹🇭.
For spice lovers, the green curry roast chicken is a must-try! It's aromatic, spicy, and authentic 🌶️, paired with herb bread that is super appetizing 👍🏻. The appetizer platter was very generous in portion. I absolutely loved the crispy shrimp cakes, which were bouncy and flavorful, and the pork neck was delightfully chewy 😋. There were also plenty of shrimp cakes, satay chicken 🍗 with a strong coconut aroma 🤤, and the Thai-style fried oyster pancake was packed with ingredients 😍. It was loaded with fresh oysters, fried to a crispy perfection, and paired with a tangy and spicy sauce. Adding bean sprouts and lettuce balanced the richness, making it incredibly delicious 😋.
Order a coconut drink and a slushie to cool down from the spiciness, and they were perfect 👍🏻. The restaurant also thoughtfully offers a mango sticky rice cake 🎂, which is perfect for celebrations! My husband was very satisfied 😃.
Restaurant: Restoran SAYA
Address: Shop G701, G/F, Leo Place, 18 Ka Shin Street, Tai Kok Tsui.
