Hey guys! I just got back from Jinan, and I'm totally captivated by this Spring City!
Make sure to save this guide!
🏨Accommodation:
Stay near Quancheng Road.
It's super close to the attractions, and you can stroll through the night market in the evening.
🚶♀Itinerary:
💡Baotu Spring, Wulongtan, Daming Lake, etc., are all in the Jinan Old City area. The entire scenic area is quite large, so you might want to split it into two days.
🌟Day 1: Arrival in Jinan - Kuanhouli
I arrived in Jinan close to 5 PM. After resting for a bit, I went for a walk around Kuanhouli.
Kuanhouli is one of those standardized commercial streets found all over the country. Checking it out once is enough. For dinner, you can go to the nearby commercial areas.
At the end of the street is Jiefang Pavilion, which looks beautiful when lit up at night.
You can get free stamps at Xiaojiu Creative Life Store and Qingzhi Hand Cream in Kuanhouli.
🌟Day 2: Shandong Art Museum - Shandong Museum - Baotu Spring - Wulongtan
🎫The Shandong Art Museum and Shandong Museum are in the same area, so you can visit them together. Both are free.
💡You need to book museum tickets in advance. Both museums offer free stamps.
Baotu Spring is absolutely stunning, with crystal-clear spring water. However, it's very crowded. Tickets are CNY 40/person.💰
Wulongtan is less crowded and scenic, perfect for taking photos.
🌟Day 3: Panlongshan Ski Resort
I specifically planned a day for skiing.🎿
Since it was my first time skiing, I had no experience at all.
After comparing various options, I chose Panlongshan Ski Resort, which is relatively close to the city center.
A round-trip taxi ride cost over CNY 80.💰
The entrance ticket includes snow boots and skis.
Ski suits, crash pads, and lockers need to be rented separately.
Helmets, gloves, and ski goggles can be purchased as needed (I bought these in advance on Pinduoduo. If you're just trying it out, buying them on Pinduoduo is sufficient).
For first-timers, I highly recommend hiring a coach! Otherwise, you won't experience the joy of skiing and will just keep falling! I learned in an hour and was able to ski happily.🤣
(‼️PS: Hire a coach, preferably a handsome one who can provide emotional support and help you record videos, or hire an experienced older coach who can give you practical tips.)
💡Day 4: Daming Lake - Fu Xue Wen Miao (Jinan Confucian Temple) - Furong Street
The sunset at Daming Lake is breathtaking. You must wait for it!🌄
There's a Xia Yuhe sculpture that's worth checking out.
There are many places to get stamps inside, most of which are free.🆓
Fu Xue Wen Miao is near the south gate of Daming Lake. If you have exams coming up, you can visit it.
There's a giant jade seal stamp at the entrance (but you need to make a purchase to use it).
Furong Street is a snack street where you can eat till you're stuffed.
