Korean restaurant Young Dabang lands in Sha Tin

Young Dabang, located in New Town Plaza, Sha Tin, is a globally renowned chain with over 400 outlets worldwide. It has finally opened in Hong Kong! Usually, there's a long queue, but tonight, I got lucky as there was no line. I seized the chance to try it out!

Cheese Waterfall Tteokbokki with Fried Chicken - $293
The dish was generously portioned and served hot. The boneless fried chicken was golden and crispy, with juicy meat in every bite. It was paired with a generous amount of mozzarella cheese, offering a satisfying cheese pull. We chose the YDB signature sauce, and the chewy tteokbokki was uniquely long and bouncy. The dish also included fried dumplings, Vienna sausages, quail eggs, cabbage, green onions, ramen, and more. The mildly spicy flavor was appetizing, making it more delicious as you cooked and ate.

Jeju Tangerine Soda - $148/pot
A great value drink, as one pot is enough for two to three people. It was filled with tangerine pulp, offering a refreshing and sweet taste. It paired perfectly with the tteokbokki, balancing the spiciness and richness.

The restaurant's ambiance was pleasant, with Korean-style decor and comfortable seating. The staff were very friendly. There are still other dishes I want to try, so I'll definitely come back!
