The classic Christmas story that is known to every family brings endless joy and unbridled imagination to every child. They hope to become the protagonist of the story, move forward courageously with love and faith, and become a better self! This winter, Cityplaza presents a world made up of classic Christmas stories. We sincerely invite all explorers to use their imagination to become a Story Traveller and explore their own story journey!

From November 25, 2022 to January 2, 2023, everyone will be able to freely travel through three well-known classic Christmas stories: "The Snowman", "The Nutcracker" and "The North Pole Express". Follow the Snowman and the Nutcracker on the Christmas Express, starting from the prologue and stepping into the world of stories, experience the 7 interactive theme check-in devices in the venue, and make personalized decorations on the spot, immersing in the Christmas fantasy of combining backgrounds drawn by local illustrators with self-created decorations. This time, we have specially invited eight local illustrators to work together to create this immersive story world. In addition to injecting innovative literary and artistic elements into the event, we also strive to support local artistic creation, making the beauty and joy in fairy tales come true one by one, and allowing all Story Travellers to experience a playful Christmas full of imagination and surprises, so that everyone can "LIVE HAPPY"!

The starting point of the giant Christmas tree, the beginning of the Christmas story

The 11-meter-high Christmas tree will kick off everyone’s surprise journey! The theme installation, designed with book pages in mind, is presented in dreamy gradient colors, and the top of the tree is decorated with storybooks. It is definitely an eye-catching work for Christmas! The tree is surrounded by a fairytale forest created by a local illustrator, incorporating large three-dimensional flowers, making it feel like walking into a picture book. The giant themed installations "Step into the World of Stories" on both sides of the Christmas tree allow everyone to become a part of the story, take funny photos, and find interesting things in the book!

Peep into the small theater and travel through the classic story light and shadow check-in area

The three check-in areas in the venue are based on classic Christmas stories: "The Snowman", "The Nutcracker" and "The North Pole Express", adding light and shadow elements, calling on all Story Travellers to explore the happy world full of fantasy and creativity one by one, and take a different Christmas story tour!

The first stop is the 5-meter-tall "Colorful Bubble Snowman" that shines with dazzling colors. Walk into the belly of the snowman made of bubble snowballs and take dreamy photos under the gradient lighting effects.

Then go to the second stop, "Stand at Attention! The Nutcracker", a trendy check-in spot composed of more than 270 nutcrackers of different colors. Is your camera ready?

The third stop is the "Ice House Aurora Tour". Sitting under the arch of the polar ice house, you can look up and watch the aurora change in myriad ways with the music.

Immerse yourself in the light and shadow art tunnel and create your own story world

The long-awaited "Immersive Colorful Christmas" will bring you a shocking immersive new experience for free! The mall has specially invited local illustrators to draw the tunnel background, and a new illustrator’s work will be added every two weeks to bring you more unexpected surprises. All Story Travellers need to do is scan the QR code to register and create their own Christmas decorations, which will be combined with the endless world of light and shadow in the tunnel, allowing you to immerse yourself in your own Christmas story. Remember to pose for some stylish photos to put a perfect end to your Christmas story journey.
