[Hawaii] Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, a relaxing tropical gateway

I have used Daniel K. Inouye International Airport as the gateway to Hawaii several times. The tropical openness and atmosphere of the Japanese garden on the premises, which is immediately visible upon arrival, left a strong impression. The terminal is reasonably spacious, and there are duty-free shops, so you can relax before your departure. There are multiple terminals, so I was a little confused the first time, but once I got used to it, it was easy to move around. The laid-back atmosphere typical of Hawaii that permeates the entire airport is comfortable, and I felt it was a suitable place to start or end a trip.
