Discovering Hexia Ancient Town

A while ago, I explored Hexia Ancient Town in Jiangsu Province, a place with over 2,500 years of history. The town retains its Ming and Qing Dynasty architectural style, making it a quiet yet vibrant destination.

Wandering through Guyi Street, I felt the historical significance of the cobblestone pavement. Wenlou, a century-old establishment, offered delicious Huaiyang cuisine, especially the "Crab Roe Soup Dumplings." The Kuixing Pavilion was where scholars once prayed for success before their exams.

The night market, open on weekends, added a lively ambiance to the town. Hexia Ancient Town's blend of history and local life made it a memorable visit. I highly recommend experiencing its charm.
