Ancient City Charm! JI Ming Yi Ancient City Walking Guide.

Drive along the G6 Beijing–Lhasa Expressway, away from the hustle and bustle of Beijing, and you will find an ancient post station with a history of more than 700 years at the foot of the lonely Ji Ming Mountain—Ji Ming Yi.

📍Ji Ming Yi, built in the Yuan Dynasty, was named after the mountain and built as a post station. Within the square outline of the ancient city, there are many ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and the east and west gates stand tall. The east gate was a classic filming location for the movie "A Chinese Odyssey" before it was restored, and the west gate offers a panoramic view of Ji Ming Mountain and the ancient city. Walking on the ancient city wall, you will feel like you have traveled back in time to the Ming Dynasty.

💌 "The war drums urge the sky, and the family letter is heavy." In the past, the post horses galloped and changed horses here, but now the post station has become an "E station," where the past and present meet. The people and things have changed, but the charm remains.

Start at the east gate → Post Station Culture Museum → Taishan Palace → Wenchang Pavilion → Dragon King Temple → God of Wealth Temple → Post Station Official's Mansion → He Family Residence → Climb the west gate tower → Walk halfway along the city wall → Return to the east gate.
