Sweet Tooth | Pistachio Buttercream Matcha Roll

After playing in the water at Bai Bao Creek in Hualien,
when hungry, I choose Xiao He Valley.
For desserts, I choose Xiao He Hao Dian.

Today, I suddenly craved a cinnamon roll,
so I set off, speeding down the country lanes,
arriving at the elegant green courtyard.
Upon opening the door, I saw a white butterfly dog,
lazily lying under the wooden coffee table,
extremely cute and ready to be petted.

I ordered the Pistachio Buttercream Matcha Roll,
paired with a Summer Pineapple Americano.
The matcha roll had a bread-like texture,
slightly toasted with a crispy outer layer.
As you chew, a wave of matcha aroma fills your mouth,
coated with pistachio buttercream,
adding a sweet fragrance to the matcha.
The pineapple Americano was very refreshing,
with the pineapple syrup sweetening the coffee's bitterness.

In the afternoon at Xiao He Hao Dian in Hualien,
coffee, cinnamon rolls, and petting the dog,
leisurely and with a chill Hualien vibe.
