Dashibi Mountain in Hualien is located at the southern end of the Qixingtan Coastal Recreation Area. It is a small hill protruding from the coastline. Due to its terrain, which consists of massive rocks and its geographical position resembling a "nose," along with its turtle shell-like shape, it is called "Dashibi Mountain" or "Gui'an Mountain."

Dashibi Mountain is situated at the southern end of the Qixingtan Coastal Recreation Area in Hualien. The "Dashibi Mountain Trail" was built along the mountain, stretching 750 meters in length. There are entrances at both the north and south ends, making it an easy walk that can be completed in less than an hour. Along the trail, you can see pastures, prickly ash, mock orange, wild lilies, and more, making it an excellent spot for observing plant and animal ecology as well as geological landscapes. Upon reaching the summit, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Highway 11, Qixingtan Bay, and the vast blue Pacific Ocean. There is also a scenic pavilion for visitors to rest. This natural ecological trail is perfect for family outings. The breathtaking sea view from the summit is truly a gift from nature during your travels!
